Our Institutional Journey
This multi-faculty institution emerged from a visionary private foundation in 1975, achieving provincial status within its inaugural year. Since that pivotal moment, the college has maintained an unwavering trajectory of progress. Nestled in the majestic Shivalik foothills, it stands as the academic gateway between the Garhwal and Kumaon divisions.
Spread across a sprawling 14.50-acre riverside campus on the banks of the Kosi, we have evolved into a premier Post-Graduate hub. Affiliated with Kumaon University, Nainital, the college fosters excellence across Arts, Science, and Commerce, remaining a cornerstone of regional intellectual development.
The Cultural Landscape
Ramnagar
Founded by Commissioner H. Ramsay (1856-1884), Ramnagar is a tapestry of colonial history and natural splendor. Situated in the fertile Terai belt, it serves as the vital administrative pulse for the world-renowned Corbett National Park.
Once celebrated for its sprawling British tea gardens, the town is now globally recognized for its premium Litchi farming. Beyond its modern vibrancy, the region whispers of Mahabharata-era glory, standing on the site of the ancient Northern Panchala capital.
