🗣️General Rules & Campus Conduct

It is **necessary** for the students to strictly follow the dates in the notices issued by the college from time to time.

Students are responsible for maintaining peace and order in the campus and **not disturbing classes**.

Students will contact in-charges concerned and **Dean Student Welfare** for solving their problems. **Under no circumstances, students will not be able to directly meet the Principal**.

Necessary information are put on the notice board. Students are advised to **pay attention to the notices**.

Students are expected to be disciplined and follow the following strictly:

**Prohibited:** Putting any kind of poster or banner in the college campus and boundary.

**Serious Crime:** Carrying any kind of firearms in the college campus is a crime and an **FIR will be immediately lodged** if a student is found with a firearm.

**Prohibited:** Smoking in the college campus and spitting is prohibited.

**Duty:** College property is the property of students. Each student is duty bound to safeguard furniture.

**Awareness:** Students are expected to be aware about cleanliness and environment building in the college.

**Punishable:** Parking vehicles near the main gate and college campus is a punishable offence. Each student will park his vehicle at the parking place only.

**Prohibited:** Use of mobile phones is prohibited in the college campus.

✅Academic Assessment & Admission Process
Admission Process

Candidates will obtain application forms from the college office, duly fill them, and submit the same before the last date.

The candidates will be interviewed for admission. They must be **personally present** before the admission committee with their **original certificates** to get recommended. Admission is granted upon depositing original transfer certificate and character certificate. Identity card form will be filled and the card given upon fee deposit. **Absence during interview means no admission**.

For girl students, separate Committees will be formed if the number of girl applicants are substantial.

Admitted candidates must deposit the prescribed fee within the prescribed period at the **Bank extension counter in the College**. **Failure to do so will lead to automatic cancellation** and admission will be given to the next candidate in merit.

If admission fails in one faculty, the same form cannot be used for another. A separate application must be submitted for a different faculty before the prescribed date.

Consideration under university admission rule 1-12 is possible only when a regular student submits a **medical certificate** and an **affidavit** with regard to the reason.

Time table will be posted on the notice board immediately after the last date of admission and teaching shall commence accordingly.

It is **compulsory for each student to carry their identity card**. Entry to the college campus without an identity card is prohibited.

In case of loss of identity card, submit an application with affidavit to the Proctorial Board. A second copy will be issued after inquiry and deposit of **Rs 30**. Using a **forged identity card** will result in **disciplinary and legal action**.

Students passing compartmental examination will not be considered for admission after the admission date is over.

Change of faculty and subjects will be allowed conditionally.

Student failing in any class will **not be re-admitted** to the same class.
🛑Anti Ragging Rules: Zero Tolerance Policy
The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has issued very strict instructions to curb the menace of ragging in institutions, declaring it a **punishable offence** in May 2007. Anyone indulging in ragging shall be **strictly and immediately punished**.
All students and parents are required to read the Supreme Court instructions carefully. Any student violating these instructions shall be **immediately punished by the institution and an FIR will be lodged** against the person involved.
**Compulsory:** An undertaking must be filled up and signed by the candidate and their parent/guardian, acknowledging the institution's approach toward ragging and the severe punishment for being found guilty.
Anti Ragging Committee/Squad have been constituted and are active.
